Engagements, fees, and tax

• All published prices are quoted in USD and are indicative until confirmed in a signed statement of work.
• Engagements with Australian clients are subject to GST at the prevailing rate (10% as of the date above) where required by the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth).
• Engagements with overseas clients are typically GST-free supplies under section 38-190 of the GST Act, subject to confirmation before invoicing.
• Default payment terms are net 14 days from invoice date unless the statement of work specifies otherwise.

Intellectual property

All branding, copy, images, code samples, and other materials published on this Site are owned by Base66 unless otherwise attributed. You may quote short excerpts for non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not republish, mirror, or build derivative services from this Site without prior written permission.

Ownership of deliverables produced under an engagement is governed by the relevant statement of work. Default position: clients receive a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use deliverables; Base66 retains rights to underlying tooling, frameworks, and generic patterns developed before or independently of the engagement.

Confidentiality

We will treat information you share during sales and discovery as confidential, and we will sign a mutual NDA on request. Case studies on this Site are anonymised and exclude information that could identify clients without their written permission.

No warranties on Site content

The Site is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Site or its content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all such warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Base66 will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to upload malicious content, circumvent security controls, scrape at high volume, or impersonate others. We may rate-limit, block, or take legal action in response to abuse.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of State of Victoria, Australia. Each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia for any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of the Site.
